And here I thought...

I was gonna breeze right through! No sore boobs, no morning sickness, just an aversion to greasy food smells (no fast food for a while), cramping, and a tendency to tear up.

Nope, not that easy.

Morning sickness came acalling this morning. And when she knocks you better open the door. Cuz it ain't pretty otherwise.

Guess I'll start keeping crackers on my nightstand now.

Any other helpful hints out there? I know the aunties have some.

Mine started later than yours - at nearly 3 months. Can't remember now how long it lasted (young son being 22 this year it's been a long time since I thought about it *grin*) - I just remember there were certain smells...

Crackers did me absolutely no good. For that matter crackers were awful because they didn't settle me and starch doesn't regurgitate well. ;-)

Soda was good because it came out nearly as easy as it went in. LOL.

Everyone is different - what works for one won't work for another, but if anyone has ideas you can try them and see it they work for you.

Candied ginger can work well for some people.

At least this is one time you can grin while heaving.

Teresa is right, everyone is different and has a different tolerance. I know someone who was sick all day, but there was always a short window where she knew it was time and she would be able to keep something down, her "nourishment" at that point? A thick chocolate shake. For another friend it was nothing before 11:00 am at which time she could tolerate a lemon filled donut. Wierd stuff, but you'll find what works for you.

Slow and simple worked for me
