It's time.

We have everything ready:

Crib- check
Playpen- check
Their bag packed- check
My bag packed- check
bottles- check
formula- check
diapers- check
bouncy chairs- check
car seats- check
stroller- check
swings- check (on their way)
baby books- check (on their way)
kitchen cabinets done- check
French doors installed- check
House ready- check


Time for babies to come. I'm 36 weeks this weekend. Come on boys!!!

Water needs to break, contractions need to get more regular, something needs to happen!

Try to be patient, Pixie. The longer they can stay safe inside you, the better for their functioning when they are born. You've done well to keep them as long as you have. They'll kick things off for the delivery when the time is right. At 36 weeks their lungs should be mature enough to work without assistance. And they should weight about 3 1/2 or 4 pounds each. Even a week longer would be a good thing, give them time to grow and get stronger. Maybe they'll arrive for Valentine's Day.

Anyway, would have your Mom put a note on the site when they come? With all their vital stats and their full names? I figure you're going to have a lot of stuff to do and might not be up to sitting at the computer for a while.

I'll be saying some extra-special prayers this week for you and the boys.
