Slip-on shoes

I'm looking for some good, comfortable, not too expensive slip-on shoes.

What are they called? Not clogs, shoot, I don't know.

Anyways, my feet are so swollen that none of my slip-ons are comfy. I normally wear a 6 or 6 1/2 but right now I'm having to go bigger...

Anyone have any recommendations. I looked at Target, Kmart, and Wal-Mart with no luck.

*sigh*

I think you're going to have to go to a real shoe store to find something. The cheap brands are cheap for a reason - they don't have lots of support. In normal times, this sounds like it's not an issue for you - but you are carrying around lots of extra with the twins.

Check out Famous Footwear, DSW, JCPenny, the Walking Company (if there is one near you), Naturalizer... those kind of places. Yes, you'll have to spend more money, but trust me when I say it's worth the extra when your feet are under pressure like this.

I know you've been putting money into fixing up your place and getting ready for the boys, but this is one time you might have to put out some extra for you. Have fun shopping. :-)

Land's end makes a winter slip on, not a clog, but a slip on; they are usually weather proof and kind of a brushed leather or suede exterior.

They are comfortable, have support weather resisitant, and slip resistent. You can sometimes get them on sale for about $20.00 - $25.00.

Lots of color choices and Sears carries them now. I forget what they are called, but I wear them all winter. I usually make sure I have two pair, black and brown or blue and tan...great for jeans and casual dresss.

There are a couple brands that are likely to have choices. Merrel makes several styles that have sneaker style soles which are comfortable with nice looking uppers. I'm sure there are some other companies too, but you'll have better luck with a shoe store than a department store.

You're poor little piggies.

My feet grew an entire shoe size when I was pregnant and never went back! Payless Shoe Source usually has cheap slip-on tennis shoe mules....

I found some awesome shoes at a store called Shoe Carnival here in Warner Robins. Got 4 pairs of comfy shoes- buy 1 pair get 2nd pair off with a 10% military discount. What more could a girl ask for? LOL

My piggies were comfy today...not perfect but the best they've felt in a while.

Haha! I did ask work if I could get away with wearing slippers but because I work in a huge aircraft hanger they are worried about me slipping or something falling and breaking my foot.
