Christmas Card list to date
Harvey from Bad Example (Thanks Teresa!) had the great idea of listing who all the Christmas cards are from.
So I'm going to list First name, Last initial and the city or something similar. I've tried to save all the envelopes as cards came in so this is what I have...I know I'm missing some.
I'll edit the list if anymore come in. I'm already amazed by how many have arrived. This list will also include the various organizations that have sent packages also.
So in no particular order-

Hey Pixie... a little instruction for you and anyone else who is just starting to blog and trying to figure out how to link. When you're typing the post... use your mouse to highlight the words you want to use for the link. In this case "Harvey"...
Now look at the doodads across the top of the box you're writing the post on. You'll see a "b" (that is to make the highlighted text bold) "i" which is for italic, "T" for text color, then you see this thing that looks like a sideways figure 8... that is a "link" (like a chain link). Click on this and a box pops up to put the link in.
For Harvey's home page I can just type in the url because it's very easy. And they already put the http:// in there for you. But for longer urls (like a specific post Harvey wrote), I open a second window and have the page I want in that window. Right click on the url at the top of the page, do a copy... do a ctrl - tab to switch to the posting window, Right click in the text part of the box and paste it - click "Ok" and viola! the link is done for you. (be sure to clear the box first by hitting backspace if you're going to paste an entire url - or you'll have one too many http://'s in there)
So... clear as mud? Email me if you're stuck in the fence. *grin*
While you're linking things, you should include a link to the original post :-)
